There have been numerous things in my life that made me sure I wanted to be apart of this amazing cause.

I grew up with parents who both happened to be in healthcare but went beyond in modeling for me ways to “reach the people who seem unreachable”... I saw consistent examples of how much of a difference one person can make when you are willing to go into the uncomfortable. This is what prompted me to volunteer with my first non profit while was still in high school. I have had the honor of continuing to work with other non profits since and see the difference makers they are.

I have had family members and close friends around me be traumatized from abuse. Although these things didn’t happen directly to me, I saw first hand how much goes into the healing process. I saw first hand the heartbreak, struggle and effects. I want to be apart of a team that provides thoughtful and effective solutions.

I currently live in Los Angeles and work in occupational therapy.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for over 20 years and we have 2 children.  Having my own children makes my heart beat for this cause even greater.

I love finding out of the box ways to bring healing to the whole person. I believe in tapping into everyday things (one example may be a love for food and the the process of growing harvesting and cooking) and using all thats involved as gateway to healing the mind, body and soul.
